Kanwarpal Dhaliwal is the Associate Director and Co-Founder of RYSE. In her work, she guides the implementation of healing-centered practices, grounded in racial justice and liberation, across all program areas. She develops, promotes, and advocates for policies, investments, practices, and research that enliven healing and justice across the fields and sectors in which RYSE works. The purpose of Kanwarpal’s work and is to contribute to movements, communities, and legacies of liberation that honor the ancestors who fought for her existence, and to forge a world that is just and gentle for current and future generations. Kanwarpal holds a Master's Degree in Public Health and serves as adjunct faculty at San Francisco State University.
