Beverly Greene / Looking Backwards to go forward: ‘Learnings’ and Lessons from Our Elders
Beverly Greene, PhD, ABPP is a Professor of Psychology at St. John’s University, and a practicing clinical psychologist in New York City. Dr Greene, a Fellow of APA and 8 of its divisions. She is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology (American Board of Professional Psychology), and a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Psychology and has served on the editorial boards of many scholarly journals. The author of over one hundred publications in the psychological literature, twelve have received national awards for making significant and distinguished contributions. She is the recipient of over 32 national awards for distinguished contributions and leadership in the form of longstanding pioneering contributions to the development of greater understandings of the intersections of race, gender and sexual orientation and multiple identity/intersectional paradigms. Her work has forcefully advocated for the greater integration of psychological theory, research, practice and social justice.
