Metzi Henriquez, M.A., MFTI, is a native and refugee of El Salvador, raised in San Francisco’s historic Mission District. Ms. Henriquez is dedicated to the advocacy of human rights, race relations, social justice and cultural empowerment using communicative skills with a Psycho/ Social focus. Her therapeutic style as a fully bilingual, bicultural and indigenous clinician is unique to serving families of Latino descent, youth in detention, young adults in re-entry and recent immigrants. Ms. Henriquez has extensive experience working with immigrant and underserved communities of San Francisco through art and therapeutic services while working at the Central American Resource Center, San Francisco Department of Public Health’s Special Programs for Youth and currently South- East Family Therapy Center.
